The 31-year old free-agent big man Joel Przybilla is drawing interest from several teams, including his former team, the Milwaukee Bucks — who are heavily pursuing the veteran center.
The Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Heat, according to league sources, are the two other clubs interested in Przybilla’s services.
The former Minnesota Golden Gopher standout played in only 36 games last season — starting nine with Portland.
He was traded from the Trail Blazers to the Charlotte Bobcats last February in a deal that involved Gerald Wallace.
The 7-foot-1, 245-pound center was drafted by the Houston Rockets ninth overall in 2000 and then shipped to Milwaukee, where he played his first three-plus seasons in the NBA.
The Heat have four centers of their current roster: Joel Anthony, Eddy Curry, Dexter Pittman, and Mickell Gladness.
